Job summary

Nu Staff is currently recruiting Recycling Operatives for a Caerphilly facility. The role involves physically demanding manual work in an industrial recycling setting, with rotating shifts Monday to Friday. Immediate start available and Temp to Ongoing contract.

You will join a growing team focused on safe, efficient recycling processes. Ideal candidates are reliable, able to follow instructions, and enjoy hands-on work. Previous recycling or warehouse experience is a plus, but not essential.

Recycling Operative

£13.46 per hour | Temporary to Ongoing | Immediate Start Available. Nu Staff are recruiting for Recycling Operatives to join a growing recycling facility based in Caerphilly. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is physically fit, reliable, and enjoys working in a hands-on industrial environment.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday: Mornings: 06.00am - 14.00pm; Days: 10.00am - 18.00pm (Rotating weekly).

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting and grouping fire extinguishers into categories
• Setting up extinguishers to be safely drained
• Preparing units for dismantling and recycling
• Using hand tools (including hammers) to dismantle components
• Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
• Following all Health & Safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
• Comfortable working in an industrial/recycling environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Previous experience in recycling, labouring, or warehouse work is an advantage but not essential
• Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude

Location

Caerphilly - must be able to commute reliably.
