Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Resourcing Assistant to join our Recruitment Team across Basildon, Broomfield and Southend sites. You will help deliver a fast, accurate end-to-end recruitment service, supporting hiring managers and candidates with offers, onboarding, and checks.

The role supports NHS employment standards and requires strong communication and admin skills. Band 3 or 4 depending on experience, with progression from 3 to 4 possible; travel across sites may be

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs including Maths and English/NVQ 3 or equivalent experience
• Foundation Certificate in CIPD or working towards qualification
• Willingness to study relevant qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administering Offers
• Conducting and recording the pre-employment checks through to booking start dates and finalising the onboarding process for successful candidates
• Communicating with and supporting hiring managers and candidates over the phone, face to face and via email
• Ensuring adherence to the NHS employment check standards and compliance with appropriate employment legislation, resulting in the delivery of a comprehensive and responsive recruitment service within the Trust
• coordinating recruitment activities to deliver the recruitment service level agreement across Groups' services and clinical areas
