Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Resourcing Assistant to join the Resourcing Temporary Staff team on a 1-year secondment or fixed-term contract. The role is 30 hours per week with occasional weekend work and is based at Bedford Hospital.

Qualifications

• GCSE level or equivalent.
• Administrative experience in a busy, customer-focused environment.
• Experience of using IT Systems.
• Knowledge/experience of nursing and medical roles within an NHS setting.
• Experience of using Healthroster, Bankstaff, and ESR.
• Experience of using 247 time.

Responsibilities

• Booking of both bank and agency staff to fill gaps in the service.
• Provide support to payroll with enquiries and staff joining/leaving the bank.
• Maintain accurate staff records and ensure mandatory training is up to date.
• Liaise with bank staff to ensure registrations and compliance are up to date.
• Process locum and agency bookings and handle related administration.
• Input data onto rostering and resourcing systems and generate regular reports.
