Job summary

Harnham is a specialist recruitment business focused on Data, Analytics and Technology, with teams across the UK, Europe and the US. The Learning & Development team drives the onboarding journey for new consultants and provides ongoing coaching to build commercial skills and performance.

The role focuses on delivering and evolving the UK New Starter Academy, coaching across the business, and shaping structured career pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering training or coaching within a recruitment business.
• Successful agency recruiters transitioning to Learning & Development roles considered.
• Experience delivering workshops or mentoring colleagues is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and co-facilitate the UK New Starter Academy.
• Train consultants across candidate management, business development, client development, negotiation and closing.
• Conduct knowledge checks, assessments and progress reviews.
• Support new starters as they transition from the Academy onto their recruitment desks.
• Deliver one-to-one and group coaching to consultants.
• Conduct call listening, live shadowing and desk-based coaching.
• Provide clear, constructive and practical feedback.
• Identify development needs and deliver targeted training sessions.
• Support consultants beyond the Academy as they progress through the business.
• Contribute to the continued development of training content, materials and structured career pathways.
• Work with managers and directors to review progress and identify capability gaps.
