Capita Recruiting Partnering Project in Aldershot is recruiting a Recruiter to support Army recruitment on a fixed-term contract through maternity leave until 31 March 2027. You will interview candidates, deliver a first-class candidate experience, and lead local attraction events while working with schools and providers to promote Army careers.

The role requires strong customer service, IT literacy, and a full UK driving licence, with salary around £28,000 pro rata and benefits including

• Ability to work consultatively to support recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

• Interview candidates and support them throughout their bespoke recruitment journey.
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience.
• Lead attraction events to raise awareness of Army careers.
• Collaborate with educational providers to promote Army careers.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilise social media tools to attract and engage candidates.
• Demonstrate strong customer service capabilities.
• Be IT literate with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Hold a full UK driving licence (own transport required).
• Familiarity with Army Careers and/or recruitment experience is advantageous.

Supporting candidates throughout their bespoke recruitment journey to join the British Army as a Recruiter in Aldershot.

You will take responsibility for delivering diverse and inclusive attraction and recruiting activities in the local area. Delivering exceptional solution focused customer service which is tightly measured against targets and candidate feedback. This is a Fixed Term Contract role to cover maternity until 31st March 2027.

What you'll be doing:

• Interviewing candidates and working consultatively to support them throughout their bespoke recruitment journey
• Providing an exceptional candidate experience
• Attending and leading attraction events to raise candidate awareness of Army careers
• Working with educational providers to promote awareness of careers within the Army
• Managing relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Using the latest social media tools to attract and engage with candidates
• Experience of providing excellent Customer Service
• IT Literate using Microsoft Office Suite
• Full UK drivers licence (due to location of office, need to have own transport)
• Familiarity with Army Careers and/or experience of recruitment, would be an advantage
