Job summary

Slough Borough Council seeks an experienced Recruitment Consultant to support the Children’s Services directorate and lead recruitment for SEND restructure. You will attract, engage and secure top talent, partnering with hiring managers and senior leaders to guide end‑to‑end hiring and onboarding.

The role requires proactivity, stakeholder influence and a passion for improving outcomes for children and young people, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement in observatory house Slough.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or recruitment resourcing.

Responsibilities

• Act as dedicated recruitment partner to Councillors and hiring managers within Children’s Services.
• Lead attraction strategies and advise on routes to market for SEND restructure.
• Manage multiple campaigns with data and market insight to achieve timely outcomes.
• Deliver an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience through the end‑to‑end process.
