We are looking for a proactive and confident Recruitment Consultant to provide dedicated recruitment support to our Children’s Services directorate.
You will play a key role in attracting, engaging and securing talented people, particularly to support the restructure within Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a highly visible opportunity where your recruitment expertise and relationship‑building skills will make a real difference.
Working closely with hiring managers and senior leaders across Children’s Services, you will act as their dedicated recruitment partner, guiding them through every stage of the hiring process from shaping attraction strategies and advising on routes to market, through to selection, offer and onboarding. A key priority will be delivering recruitment activity for the SEND restructure, managing multiple campaigns and using data, market insight and best practice to achieve inclusive, effective and timely outcomes.
You will bring strong organisational skills, excellent communication and the confidence to influence stakeholders, alongside a genuine passion for delivering a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.

Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1 April, subject to six months’ service and satisfactory performance, until the maximum spinal column point is reached.
