Job summary

Regional Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Driving Recruitment Consultant to join our Leicester team on a permanent basis. You will manage and grow a driving recruitment desk, building strong client relationships and delivering tailored recruitment solutions.

You will identify new business opportunities, advertise roles, screen candidates, and ensure compliant processes while working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, ideally Driving/Logistics/Industrial sectors
• Strong knowledge of UK driving recruitment market
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident telephone manner
• Strong sales and business development ability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Good understanding of recruitment compliance and right-to-work requirements

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
• Develop new business through outbound calls, networking and leads
• Understand drivers' requirements and provide recruitment solutions
• Advertise vacancies across job boards and channels
• Source, interview and register suitable drivers; match to vacancies
• Complete candidate compliance and eligibility checks
• Coordinate bookings and driver availability
• Maintain regular communication with clients and candidates
• Ensure shifts are filled efficiently and manage client accounts
• Work toward individual and team targets

Requirements

Essential:

• Previous experience within recruitment, ideally within the Driving, Logistics or Industrial sectors
• Strong knowledge of the UK driving recruitment market
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
• Confident telephone manner

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment

• Minimum of one year's experience within Driving Recruitment
• Existing relationships within the transport and logistics sector
• Experience managing temporary and contract drivers
• Knowledge of driver compliance, licence checks and working‑time requirements
• Full UK driving licence

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Driving Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and developing a successful recruitment desk.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
• Developing new business through outbound calls, networking and lead generation
• Understanding clients' driver requirements and providing suitable recruitment solutions
• Advertising vacancies across job boards and other recruitment channels
• Sourcing, interviewing and registering suitable driversMatching candidates to temporary, contract and permanent driving vacancies
• Completing candidate compliance and eligibility checks
• Managing driver availability and coordinating bookings
• Maintaining regular communication with clients and candidates
• Ensuring shifts and bookings are filled efficiently
• Managing client accounts and delivering excellent customer service
• Working towards individual and team targets
• Maintaining accurate records on the recruitment CRM
