Simply Jobsworth is seeking a proactive Recruitment Consultant in Stockport to own the Industrial & Driving desk. You will develop client relationships, win new business and deliver reliable candidates across industrial sectors.

You will source, interview and register candidates, manage temporary workers and align staffing with client needs, while driving growth and earnings in a supportive environment.

Recruitment Consultant

Location: Stockport
Salary: Up to £38k + Commission (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:30am - 4:30pm (TBC)

Are you an experienced Recruitment Consultant looking for your next opportunity?

We're looking for a driven, personable and commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to join our Stockport team and take ownership of our Industrial & Driving desk.

The Role

You'll be responsible for developing and managing existing client relationships, winning new business and supplying reliable candidates across the industrial and driving sectors.

Your day-to-day role will include:

• Developing new and existing client relationships
• Winning new business and growing your own client base
• Taking job requirements and managing the recruitment process
• Sourcing, interviewing and registering candidates
• Managing temporary workers and maintaining strong candidate relationships
• Working with clients to understand their staffing requirements
• Managing your desk and maximising its commercial potential

What We're Looking For

We're ideally looking for someone with previous recruitment experience, particularly within Industrial, Driving, Logistics or Warehousing recruitment.

You’ll be:

• Confident and comfortable speaking with clients and candidates
• Commercially focused and motivated by earning potential
• A strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
• Organised and able to work at pace
• Resilient, proactive and able to work independently
• Comfortable with business development and winning new clients
• Someone who takes pride in delivering a great service

A strong knowledge of the local recruitment market would be a real advantage.
