Job summary

FS1 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join the Industrial and Driving teams. You will manage bookings and client accounts, develop new business and guide candidates through recruitment, registration and compliance checks.

If you enjoy building relationships, you will balance sales with practical problem-solving and support clients’ staffing needs while helping candidates find work. You will combine regular client contact with candidate sourcing, administration and day-to-day

Responsibilities

• Manage bookings and client accounts.

• Source candidates and manage applications to fit industrial and driving vacancies.
• Interview and screen candidates by telephone and face to face, complete registrations and eligibility checks.
• Carry out drivers’ compliance checks.
• Keep the CRM up to date.
• Take part in an out-of-hours on-call rota.

Our client is currently seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join their Industrial and Driving teams. The Recruitment Consultant will manage bookings and client accounts, develop new business and guide candidates through recruitment, registration and compliance checks.

If you enjoy building relationships and balancing sales with practical problem-solving, this Recruitment Consultant role offers the opportunity to support clients’ staffing needs while helping candidates find work. You will combine regular client contact with candidate sourcing, accurate administration and the day-to-day coordination needed to keep bookings running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage bookings and client accounts.
• Make daily sales calls to develop business opportunities.
• Arrange and attend client meetings, turning discussions about staffing requirements into clear recruitment activity.
• Work towards sales and activity targets, organising your workload to balance business development with recruitment delivery.
• Source candidates and manage job applications, matching relevant experience and availability to industrial and driving vacancies.
• Interview and screen candidates by telephone and face to face, completing full registrations and checking eligibility and right to work.
• Carry out drivers’ compliance checks.
• Keep the customer relationship management system up to date.
• Take part in an out-of-hours on-call rota.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Excellent communication skills, with a professional telephone manner and confidence speaking with clients and candidates.
• Strong administration skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise competing demands.
• A commercially minded approach, with the motivation to make sales calls and work towards targets.
• Sound judgement when screening candidates, checking documentation and handling personal information.
• Relevant experience as a Recruitment Consultant, resourcer or account manager would be useful, as would a background in sales, customer service or staffing coordination.
