Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) is seeking a Band 3 Administrator to join the People Services team at Ysbyty Gwynedd. You will provide essential admin support to Recruitment and HR, act as first point of contact for employees, managers, candidates and the public, and help ensure smooth processes.

As a key member of the team, you will be at the heart of our People Services function, acting as a first point of contact for employees, managers, candidates and members of the public. Main duties of the job
  • Providing administrative support to Recruitment and HR teams.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for enquiries via telephone, email and in person.

We're looking for an organised and motivated individual who enjoys working with people and providing high-quality administrative support.

You will have:
  • Previous administrative experience in a busy office environment.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Confidence in handling enquiries by phone, email and face-to-face.
  • A positive and customer-focused approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of NHS systems e.g. ESR / NHS /Intrepid
  • Previous experience of working within NHS
  • Recruitment experience preferably within a Human Resources of Medical Workforce environment
