Job summary

Workforce Recruitment Group Limited is seeking an experienced Recruiter to source highly skilled engineering and technical professionals for UK employers, with a focus on international candidates relocating under Skilled Worker visa routes.

You will build pipelines across UK and overseas markets, using LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools to identify top talent. The role includes interviewing candidates, nurturing relationships, and supporting onboarding for those relocating to the UK.

Qualifications

Job description

Location: Bolton (Office Based) Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum + Bonus (OTE £8,000) + 34 Days Holiday

About the Role

Are you an experienced recruiter with a proven track record of sourcing skilled engineering professionals? We are looking for a driven and resourceful Recruiter to join our team in Bolton. The primary focus of this role will be sourcing highly skilled engineering and technical professionals for UK employers, with a significant proportion of candidates requiring Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

You will be responsible for building talent pipelines across the UK and overseas markets, sourcing professionals including welders, fabricators, technicians, truck mechanics, maintenance engineers, process engineers, senior process engineers and principal engineers.

Approximately 80% of the candidates you source will be international candidates relocating to the UK under Skilled Worker visa routes, with a strong focus on South Africa, as well as sourcing talent from the Middle East, Sri Lanka and other global markets. The remaining 20% will be UK-based candidates.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter who enjoys international talent sourcing, headhunting and building networks within specialist engineering sectors.

As a Recruiter, You Will:

• Source engineering and technical professionals from the UK and international markets.
• Build talent pipelines across South Africa, the Middle East, Sri Lanka and other regions.
• Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media and direct sourcing techniques to identify specialist talent.
• Conduct telephone and Teams interviews to assess technical skills, qualifications and suitability.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with candidates throughout their recruitment journey.
• Support the recruitment and onboarding of candidates relocating to the UK.
• Work closely with our Account Management and Delivery teams to fulfil client requirements.
• Manage multiple vacancies simultaneously while achieving recruitment targets and KPIs.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has recruitment, candidate sourcing or talent acquisition experience.
• Has experience sourcing engineering, manufacturing, technical or skilled trades candidates.
• Is confident using LinkedIn Recruiter, CV databases and proactive search methods.
• Has excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Is highly organised and target driven.
• Can identify and engage passive candidates for difficult‑to‑fill positions.

Highly Desirable

• Experience sourcing engineering or technical professionals internationally.
• Experience recruiting candidates from South Africa.
• Experience working with visa sponsorship recruitment or Skilled Worker visa candidates.
• Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing or technical recruitment markets.
