Places for People Group is seeking a Recreation Assistant to help run safe, welcoming centres and support our active community spaces.
You will clean and prepare activity areas, assist with first aid when required, and ensure equipment is stored securely. You will work with the Duty Manager and undertake patrols to protect customers and staff.

As a Recreation Assistant it will be your responsibility to maintain the Health and Safety of the centre at all times including carrying out cleaning duties and preparing activity areas for all planned sessions. You will make sure all of the Centres equipment is stored in a safe and secure way when not being used. The successful applicant will have a friendly, approachable manner and deliver excellent customer service to our customers. You will assist with first aid when required so ideally have some experience. You will ideally have worked within a similar role. Experience carrying out some cleaning duties and maintaining equipment would set you apart from other candidates.
