Job summary

WithYou is seeking a compassionate Recovery Worker in Stoke-on-Trent on a fixed-term basis until 13/09/2027. You will be the first point of contact, handling referrals and assessments, covering staff absence and phone queries. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

You will work within the Criminal Justice team, manage an active caseload, and deliver care coordination, ensuring clients are treated with respect and dignity while building strong partnerships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in health, social care, criminal justice or related settings.
• Motivation to work in drug and alcohol sector.
• Proven track record of delivering efficient and reliable customer service.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for the service, including taking referrals, carrying out assessments, covering staff absence and answering telephone queries.
• Manage an active caseload, connect with clients promptly and ensure respectful, dignified treatment.
• Provide continuity of care through partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities and intervention delivery.
• Work within the Criminal Justice team with outreach to prisons, courts, custody and probation.
