Job summary

With You in Weston-super-Mare is recruiting a Recovery Worker to provide empathetic support to people facing substance misuse challenges. You will work with clients to identify goals and create tailored recovery plans within a multidisciplinary team.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions, build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, and coordinate care across services to support lasting change.

Qualifications

• Experience in health, social care, or related setting.
• Experience delivering services in a community setting.
• Knowledge and understanding of delivering evidence-based interventions.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
• Be resilient under pressure and able to prioritise your work.
• Able to be flexible with your working hours on occasion and support other locations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and advice to clients experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse.
• Develop treatment plans with clients and guide their recovery.
• Deliver continuity of care through partnerships and care coordination.
• Deliver interventions and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
