An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Recovery Worker to join the new and developing Home Engagement and Recovery Team (HEART).
HEART aims to provide bespoke, intensive, and individualised interventions and care to service users living with complex, enduring mental health problems to enable them to live fulfilling lives in the community.
The post holder will promote the independence and well-being of service users; assist social inclusion; and enable the widest possible expression of each individual's chosen lifestyle.
As a recovery worker, you will work intensively with service users, supporting them to live their lives and achieve their goals, with support from a multidisciplinary team including nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, psychologists, and medical staff.
You will support individuals through various interventions to promote independence, functioning, and social inclusion. These interventions may involve activities of daily living, vocational and educational pursuits, development of family and social relationships, attending appointments, accessing meaningful activities, and housing-related support.
You will support service users in various settings, including their homes, supported accommodation providers, and especially in the community.
The role requires flexible working hours to meet the service needs, operating from 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week.

Working hours: Saturday (midnight to midnight), any weekday after 8 pm and before 6 am, and all hours on Sundays and public holidays.

Salary: £24,625 to £25,674 per annum, pro rata.
