A leading company in mental health support is seeking a Recovery Worker to join their team in Kendal. This role involves helping individuals with mental health challenges live independently and access community services. Salary: £24,570 per annum
Hours: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Chapel View is a mental health, supported housing, and community-based service operating on a recovery model. We support individuals with mental ill health to access local community services, including outreach, peer support, and supported housing. We serve residents aged 18 and upwards.
We believe recovery is unique to each individual. With the right support at the right time, recovery is possible for everyone. Your role will be to help and inspire service users to maintain their tenancy and independence, developing personal support plans to help them achieve their goals, whether in domestic skills, finance management, work, leisure, or education.
No relevant experience is required as full training will be provided. Candidates with understanding of mental health issues or lived experience are welcome. Your caring, compassionate nature, empathy, and enthusiasm are most important. You should be comfortable working independently and in a team, willing to participate in a weekly rota, and available for on-call duties.
