Service Care Solutions is currently working with a charity to fill a long-term contract for a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker. This role involves managing a caseload of clients dealing with Opiate, Alcohol, and Non-Opiate substance misuse issues.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Managing a high caseload of complex cases
  • Working closely with substance misuse clients
  • Delivering harm reduction advice, including needle & syringe programs, recovery interventions, blood-borne virus prevention, and overdose prevention
  • Supporting service users to access education, employment, health services, and wellbeing & recovery activities
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in completing comprehensive assessments
  • Proven ability to manage a high caseload of complex clients
  • Ability to manage a mixed caseload of Opiate, Alcohol, and Non-Opiate clients
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
  • Risk identification and appropriate action-taking skills

What We Offer
  • Competitive pay rate of £18-£21 per hour, depending on experience
