Job summary

The Forward Trust in Thurrock is recruiting a Recovery Coordinator to support adults facing drug and alcohol challenges within an integrated healthcare framework.

You will manage a caseload, conduct comprehensive assessments, develop SMART care plans, and deliver psychosocial interventions using motivational interviewing, harm reduction and abstinence-based approaches. You will collaborate with housing, healthcare, and criminal justice partners to promote recovery and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in substance misuse or related services.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop risk management plans.
• Experience delivering structured one-to-one and group interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured one-to-one interventions and facilitate group-work.
• Manage a caseload of service users and undertake assessments.
• Develop SMART care plans and risk management strategies.
