Job summary

The Forward Trust in Thurrock is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to support adults with drug and alcohol issues. You will deliver person-centred psychosocial interventions, manage a caseload, and develop SMART care plans to help clients progress on their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in substance misuse services.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop risk management plans.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
• Strong record-keeping and case-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured one-to-one psychosocial interventions.
• Facilitate group-work sessions and support structured treatment programmes.
• Use motivational interviewing to engage service users and promote behaviour change.
