Job summary

The Forward Trust is seeking a dedicated Recovery Coordinator to support adults facing drug and alcohol-related challenges in Thurrock. You will deliver person-centred psychosocial interventions, manage caseloads, and work within an integrated healthcare framework to promote recovery and wellbeing.

You will conduct assessments, create SMART care plans, and employ harm-reduction and abstinence-based approaches.

Qualifications

• Experience in substance misuse services.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management.
• Experience delivering psychosocial interventions.
• Ability to work with groups and individuals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured one-to-one interventions and group-work sessions.
• Support structured treatment programmes and case management.
• Build partnerships with housing, employment, healthcare, and criminal justice services.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in supervision and safeguarding practices.
