Job summary

Waythrough Bradford is seeking a compassionate Recovery Coordinator to support people through every stage of their recovery journey in Bradford. You will manage your own caseload, complete assessments and develop personalised recovery and treatment plans, delivering both one-to-one and group psychosocial interventions.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards.
• Ability to deliver brief interventions and psychosocial approaches.
• Experience delivering one-to-one and group therapeutic interventions.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of assessment, recovery planning, risk management and safeguarding.
• Knowledge of substance misuse and harm-reduction approaches is advantageous.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic systems.
• Relevant professional qualification (addiction studies, counselling, social work, or other therapeutic discipline) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload and develop, implement and review recovery and treatment plans.
• Complete triage, screening and comprehensive assessments.
• Support progression from engagement through structured treatment to sustained recovery.
• Deliver one-to-one and group psychosocial interventions tailored to needs.
• Complete risk assessments, risk management and safeguarding plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues and partner agencies.
• Help people access treatment and community resources.
• Maintain accurate case records and reports using relevant systems.
• Promote visible recovery and accessible peer-support opportunities.
