Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Sessional Recovery Coordinator in Bradford to provide collaborative recovery planning and case management for adults with substance misuse issues. This permanent role anchors the recovery journey from assessment to sustained recovery, within New Vision Bradford.

You will work 37 hours per week, in a supportive team environment, coordinating with partners to reduce harm and promote healthier, more independent lives for service users.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people affected by alcohol and/or drug use.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
• A driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage an adult caseload involving substance use issues.
• Devise, implement and review recovery and treatment plans.
• Facilitate progression from initial engagement through structured treatment to sustained recovery.
• Reduce substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
• Work collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals.
• Support prescribing and scripting processes.
• Support evening clinics where required.
