Job summary

Waythrough in Weymouth is recruiting a Recovery Worker to support individuals on their recovery journey. You will tailor guidance, coordinate services, and empower positive lifestyle changes in a compassionate, person-centred manner.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, manage a caseload, and collaborate with partners to achieve better health and wellbeing outcomes across the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in substance misuse services or related mental health work.
• Ability to engage and support people through recovery journeys.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care approaches.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseloads and develop recovery and treatment plans.
• Support individuals from initial engagement through structured treatment to recovery.
• Reduce substance-related harm for individuals and the wider community.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues to improve health outcomes.
• Build trusting relationships to encourage ongoing engagement.
