Waythrough, a leading mental health and social support charity, is seeking a committed Recovery Worker for our Weymouth service. You will support individuals on their recovery journey, coordinating services and delivering person-centred guidance to foster sustainable progress.

Qualifications

• Substance misuse services experience
• Mental health support background
• Criminal justice exposure
• Volunteering in a similar role
• Case management experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage expectations in emotionally demanding situations
• Compassionate, person-centred approach

Responsabilités

• Managing a caseload and devising, implementing, and reviewing recovery and treatment plans.
• Supporting individuals from initial engagement through structured treatment to self-sustained recovery.
• Reducing substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
• Working collaboratively with partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes.
• Building trusting relationships to encourage engagement and long-term progress.
