Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Criminal Justice Recovery Navigator to support individuals in Barnsley across multiple sites, focusing on harm reduction and tailored recovery plans. The role requires collaboration with Police, Probation, and Prison services to promote positive change and holistic wellbeing beyond substance use.

You will manage a caseload, undertake assessments, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Experience or understanding of substance misuse and criminal justice context.
• Willingness to develop expertise in recovery and harm-reduction approaches.

Responsibilities

• Manage a service user caseload and develop recovery plans with the team.
• Carry out triage and comprehensive assessments with service users.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to conduct shared assessments and interventions.
• Facilitate access to treatment and community resources to support recovery.
• Lead case management with risk and safeguarding processes and maintain online records.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to provide reports and information to managers.
• Identify and prevent potential harm by following safeguarding guidelines.
