Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Recovery House Support Worker in Weymouth to assist residents in a recovery-focused housing setting. You will provide practical and emotional support to help individuals build life skills and confidence toward independence.

Shifts run 3:00pm–11:00pm with sleep-ins; full-time on a 7-day rota basis. The role offers a fixed-term contract through March 2026 or a temporary alternative, with a salary of £25,200 per year plus £40 per sleep-in.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and positive approach.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in support work, housing, care, homelessness, mental health or recovery services is beneficial but not essential.
• We are happy to consider candidates with transferable skills and the right attitude.
