Job summary

Pin Point Health is recruiting experienced Complex Care Support Workers to work across specialist services in the North East, supporting individuals with drug and alcohol dependency, dual diagnosis, mental health needs, and complex behaviours.

Role involves providing practical and emotional support, recording medications, and coordinating with healthcare teams to promote recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care, preferably with substance misuse and complex needs.
• Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and person-centred support.
• Ability to remain calm, patient and professional in challenging situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building trust with service users.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with recovery programmes per care plans.
• Provide practical and emotional support to promote independence and wellbeing.
• Administer and record medication per policies and procedures.
• Monitor health changes and report relapse indicators.
• Assist with appointments, recovery groups and community activities.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records including risk assessments.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.
• Promote safeguarding and positive risk management at all times.
