Job summary

CNWL NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Addictions Clinical & Assessment Support Worker to perform drug and alcohol assessments, brief interventions, and prepare FP10 prescriptions under supervision. You will contribute to care planning and patient assessments within a multidisciplinary team and promote recovery values across the service.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting drug and alcohol assessments.
• Ability to perform brief interventions and motivational interviewing.
• Competence in care planning and risk assessment under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide drug and alcohol assessments and brief interventions.
• Prepare prescriptions for printing and recording on FP10 records.
• Participate in care planning and evaluation of patients’ needs.
• Embed recovery values within the service alongside peers and external agencies.
• Conduct triage and assessments in a timely manner.
• Support MDT and bridging treatment gaps in the community.
