Job summary

Hough Green Garage is expanding its breakdown and recovery team in Stafford. You will attend breakdowns across the operational area, recover and transport vehicles safely, and perform routine checks using PDA systems. The role offers 12-hour shifts, on-call requirements, and a pathway to IVR-accredited training with weekly pay.

Permanent contracts with a supportive team, modern fleet, and PPE provided. Valid UK driving licence and CPC/tachograph are required; prior recovery experience is helpful

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence valid for uk roads.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Recovery experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns and accident scenes across the operational area.
• Safely recover and transport vehicles from motorways and major routes.
• Complete vehicle checks and maintain a tidy vehicle/yard.
• Ensure all jobs are completed using company PDA systems.
• Assist with moving vehicles within the depot as required.
