Phoenix Futures has a Dependency and Recovery Worker vacancy in Basildon, working with Essex Probation. The role focuses on psychosocial support for individuals with complex needs and coordinating with probation staff to identify and support clients in treatment and recovery within the Probation setting.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant experience in problematic substance and alcohol use with strong intervention background.
• Evidence of effective partnership working and networking for client benefit.
• Experience managing a busy caseload and strong organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word; familiar with database management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across Essex counties; criminal justice experience is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Provide psychosocial support to clients open to Essex Probation.
• Liaise with Probation Practitioners to identify clients who would benefit from support.
• Offer interventions within the Probation office in your quadrant.
• Contribute to assessments for ATR, DRR and MHRT in court.
• Engage with clients through 1-1s and interventions to comply with the order.
• Liaise with prisons to ensure smooth transition into community treatment services.
• Upskill Essex Probation staff around substance and alcohol use.
• Support people in recovery through relapse prevention and care planning.
• Build partnerships with other agencies.
