Job summary

Phoenix Futures seeks a Dependency and Recovery Worker in Chelmsford to work with Essex Probation, providing psychosocial support and coordinating interventions within probation offices. You will contribute to ATR/DRR/MHRT assessments and collaborate across services to aid clients in recovery.

The role requires field experience with substance/alcohol use, strong networking, and the ability to travel as needed. On-site contract role with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

Relevant experience in the field of problematic substance and alcohol use.
Evidence of effective partnership working and networking for client benefit.
Experience managing a busy caseload and strong organisational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word; familiarity with databases.

Responsibilities

Liaise with Prisons to ensure smooth transition into community treatment services.
Support Essex Probation to upskill staff around substance and alcohol use.
Support people in recovery through relapse prevention and care planning.
Build effective partnerships with other agencies.
