Recovery Coordinator - Telehealth, Manchester

About the role:

• Managing a dedicated telephone support line.
• Contacting individuals referred within 3 working days.
• Engaging and maintaining engagement with service users.
• Assessing individual risk and needs using AUDIT and SADQ tools.
• Delivering interventions such as:
• • Identification and Brief Advice 2
• • Extended Brief Interventions
• • Harm reduction interventions and support into structured treatment for high-risk or alcohol-dependent individuals.
• Using evidence-based tools like drink diaries.
• Providing lapse and relapse prevention support.

About you:

• Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and relevant experience.
• Experience working with groups and managing group dynamics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good IT skills.
• Proactive, able to work independently with good time management.
• Knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
• Supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work with various professionals and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage change prioritizing service user needs.
• Understanding of information governance and safeguarding.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to team development.
