Job summary

Change Grow Live in Coventry is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to support service users from entry through their treatment and recovery journey. You will work within the Brief Intervention Team, providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning while promoting involvement and partnerships.

The role emphasizes strong communication, group facilitation, and safeguarding with a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience in a similar field.
• Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with good IT skills.
• Proactive with strong time management and prioritisation.
• Knowledge of mental health interventions and good practice.
• Ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage change prioritising service users' needs.
• Commitment to information governance and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Support service users from entry into the service and through recovery.
• Provide screening, assessment, recovery planning and onward referral.
• Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm for service users and community.
• Promote involvement of carers, service users and community.
• Advocate for access to partnership services.
• Support social reintegration and empower recovery, resilience and self-determination.
• Develop and prepare group content/materials (pods).
• Deliver structured content within group settings for service users at different stages of recovery.
• Facilitate debriefs with co-facilitators to review progress and address concerns.
• Tailor workshops to service users' needs.
