Job summary

Change Grow Live is seeking a part-time Recovery Coordinator to assess and engage with service users, ensuring access to the right intervention at the right time while tailoring support to individual needs.

You will work to reduce harm, promote recovery and resilience, and facilitate social reintegration through group sessions and tailored workshops. The role involves coordinating with partners and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience in a similar field.
• Experience working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with good IT skills.
• Proactive and able to work on own initiative with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Support service users from entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey.
• Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral.
• Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community.
• Promote carer, service user and community involvement.
• Provide advocacy for access to partnership services.
• Work with service users to support social reintegration and recovery.
• Research, design and prepare materials for groups/pods.
• Deliver structured content within group settings to service users at various stages of recovery.
• Engage in debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitators after groups/pods.
• Tailor workshops around service user needs such as anger management, sleep disorders, relationships.
