Job summary

Waythrough's North Yorkshire Horizons is seeking a Recovery Coordinator Criminal Justice to join our Harrogate team. You will manage a diverse caseload of adults involved with the criminal justice system, delivering person-centred recovery planning from assessment through sustained recovery in partnership with Probation, Courts and prisons.

You will coordinate tailored interventions to reduce substance-related harm and support rehabilitation, combining one-to-one work, psychosocial interventions

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults affected by substance misuse and understanding challenges in the criminal justice system.
• Knowledge of recovery-focused practice, safeguarding, risk assessment and person-centred care planning.
• Experience collaborating with criminal justice, healthcare and community organisations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of adults involved in the criminal justice system, developing, implementing and reviewing personalised recovery and treatment plans.
• Complete triage, screening and comprehensive assessments to identify needs and strengths.
• Deliver structured one-to-one psychosocial interventions and recovery-focused key working sessions.
• Coordinate with Probation, Courts, prisons and partner agencies to support recovery outcomes.
• Carry out safeguarding, risk assessments and risk management planning.
• Support access to treatment, housing, employment and community resources to promote recovery and social inclusion.
• Deliver harm reduction interventions, including drug screening and BBV testing where appropriate.
• Contribute to DRR, ATR and other criminal justice interventions.
• Provide prison in-reach to support continuity of care on release when required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver coordinated, person-centred support.
• Maintain confidential electronic case records and contribute to service quality and improvement.
• Participate in supervision, training and ongoing professional development.
