The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield is seeking a friendly Receptionist to welcome guests, check them in and out, and handle enquiries with warmth and efficiency. You will be the first point of contact, providing smooth service and resolving issues to enhance every guest stay.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in busy guest-facing environments and familiarity with Opera PMS. The role offers a competitive hourly rate plus service charge, with staff perks and career development

TheReception & Guest Services team at The Belfry is the first smile guests seeand the heartbeat of our resort. Every day, they welcome hundreds of guestswith warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail, turning every check-in,enquiry, or request into a moment that makes a stay special. This team thriveson creating seamless, personal experiences, solving challenges, anticipatingneeds, and ensuring guests feel at home from the moment they arrive.

Salary

The hourly rate is £12.71, plus service charge.

About the role

As a Receptionist, it will be your role to:

• Ensurethe efficient running of reception on a daily basis
• Registerguests into the hotel and check them out, deposit valuables into
• Issueguests keys ensuring that the hotel policy is adhered to
• Provideexcellent guest service, resolving problems when they arise andidentifying opportunities to make guests’ experiences memorable andenjoyable

About you

The ideal candidate will have had experience working in a busy guestfacing role and is able to stay calm under pressure you will also have:

• Excellentcustomer service skills with a genuine desire to deliver exceptionalexperiences to each and every guest
• Experienceworking in a hotel would be preferred but is not necessary
• Experienceworking with Opera is preferred but not essential
