The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Wishaw is seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant to join the Meetings & Events team. Your duties will include welcoming guests, delivering an outstanding experience, discussing our drinks menu, upselling, and supporting across outlets to keep the resort running smoothly.

No prior experience is required as we provide training and development through our Belfry Campus, with strong emphasis on service, enthusiasm, and a proactive, positive attitude.

The Belfry Meetings And Events

The Meetings & Events team at The Belfry brings our stylish event spaces to life, hosting everything from intimate board meetings to grand weddings and large-scale corporate events. With a dedicated team of over 150 people ensuring every occasion runs seamlessly, delivering unforgettable experiences. Being part of this team means working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same.

Salary

The base hourly rate for this role is £11.80 to 12.71 per hour, plus service charge.

About The Role

As a food and beverage assistant, your duties include all those of a waiter or bartender:

• To welcome all guests a polite and friendly manner
• To deliver a great experience from beginning to end
• To confidently talk about our drinks menus, offer upsells and enthusiastically
• Cleaning and good hygiene practices are a large part of this role
• To work across any of the outlets that are in need of assistance to ensure the smooth running of the resort as a whole.
