Local Care Direct in Bradford is seeking Part-Time Drivers to join the urgent care team. You will ensure safe, timely and compassionate patient transport, supporting clinicians during home visits and coordinating with duty clinicians across West Yorkshire.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two shifts are the same. You will work as a key member of the urgent care team, building strong working relationships with clinicians and operational colleagues.
Rates vary depending on the time of day worked:
In‑Hours: £13.21 per hour Monday to Friday, 08.00 – 18.00 Out of Hours: £14.21 per hour Monday to Friday, 18.00 – 08.00 All day Saturday and Sunday
Local Care Direct Base: Westbourne Green Community Hospital - Bradford, BD8 8RA
Sunday Bradford Mobile 1 Driver 18:00-22:59 every week

The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the LCD Mobile Area Operation across West Yorkshire and Craven, whilst working together with the Bradley Hub Controllers and Mobile Clinicians. All Drivers are responsible for the safety of the vehicle, themselves and their clinician when conducting home visit. Additional duties include transporting patients from home to clinic and driving tasks as directed by the Duty Manager.

As a Driver, you will work closely with the Duty Clinician, transporting them safely to patients’ homes and other locations across West Yorkshire as directed by the Duty Controller.
