Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD seeks a proactive Bookkeeper/Receptionist at our Sevenoaks workshop. You will handle front-of-house, customer care, and daily Xero bookkeeping for 4–5 mechanics, while keeping diary schedules and admin operations running smoothly.

This role offers £27,000–£35,000 per year, no weekends, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, and a supportive team culture with on-site parking. Experience with Xero and VAT returns is valued, with opportunities to grow in a friendly, independent workshop.

Qualifications

• Background in front-of-house reception, customer service, and general office administration.
• Working knowledge of Xero software, bank reconciliations, and VAT returns.
• Strong telephone manner, organizational skills, and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Front-of-House & Customer Care: deliver exceptional service face-to-face, over the phone, and via email.
• Workshop & Diary Management: schedule jobs, manage diaries for mechanics, generate job cards.
• Parts & Invoicing: order vehicle parts, calculate costs, raise invoices, process payments.
• Estimates: prepare job estimates and liaise with vehicle owners.
• Bookkeeping & Accounts: manage general accounts on Xero, VAT returns, bank reconciliations, payroll.
• System Integration: input invoices from garage software into Xero.
