As a Receptionist at our hospital, you’ll have great communication, IT, and keyboard skills. You’re also able to explain sensitive or complicated information clearly, sympathetically, and understandably. Ideally, you have experience in healthcare administration or reception.

You will be the face of Nuffield Health and sensitive to our customer’s needs. As a Receptionist, you will:

  • Use your empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships.
  • Put people at ease when they visit your department.
  • Answer the phone, deal with enquiries, and book appointments.
  • Welcome patients in person and direct them to the appropriate changing or waiting rooms.
  • Help the department run smoothly by preparing clinical paperwork, referral forms, charge sheets, and terms and conditions.

To succeed as a Receptionist, you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to explain sensitive or complicated information clearly, sympathetically, and understandably.
  • Experience in healthcare administration or relevant reception environment (preferred).
  • Good IT and keyboard skills.
  • Availability to work shifts (up to 6 or 8 hours) between 6.30 am and 8.00 pm.
  • Availability to work during school holidays and weekends.
