A leading healthcare provider is seeking a diligent Receptionist to join their team for 28 hours a week. The role requires managing patient interactions, supporting the clinical team, and performing various administrative duties to ensure smooth operations. Flexibility with working hours is essential to accommodate the needs of the practice.
We are looking for a receptionist to join our team for 28 hours a week:
The successful candidate will be required to be flexiblewith hours between 7am-8pm Monday to Friday to accommodate staff holidays etc.
The shift pattern will be:
Monday 7am - 1pm
Tuesday 2pm - 7pm
Thursday 8am -1pm
Friday 2pm- 7pm
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertakinga wide range of reception and administrative duties and the provision ofgeneral support to the multidisciplinary team.
Duties can include but are not limited to, greeting anddirecting patients, patient registration, booking appointments, processing ofinformation (electronic and hard copy) and assisting patients as required.
To act as the central point of contact for patients, thedistribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team,liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such assecondary care and community service providers.
To support the practice clinical team by signposting patients tothe appropriate healthcare professional or service, working as part of thepractices multidisciplinary team.
The receptonist will also be expected to undertake receptionduties as part of the role, supporting the administrative team in delivering a polite and professional service to the entitled patient population.

GP Team
Nursing Team
Pharmacy Team
Management Team
As well as a large Practice Team we also have an extensive Tame Valley PCN Team.
