Temporary Receptionist – Fridays Only

Freemantles School is seeking a temporary Receptionist to provide cover at our Ripley Satellite Site every Friday from January 2026 until July 2026. If you’re looking for a friendly environment, enjoy working with people, and have one day a week available, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Welcoming visitors to the school.
  • Supporting staff and students with administrative tasks.
  • Serving lunches and light housekeeping duties.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Friendly, welcoming, and excellent communication skills.
  • Organised, reliable, calm under pressure.
  • Confidence in using IT applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Team player with good attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Experience in a receptionist or school office role is beneficial but not essential.
  • Good standard of English and Maths required.
  • Enhanced DBS check essential.
Employment Details
  • Contract: Temporary until July 2026
  • Start date: As soon as possible.
  • Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (Fridayizwe).
  • Pay: Surrey Grade PS3.3 – £3,682 per annum (£24,330 full‑time equivalent).
