Job summary

MyDentist in Okehampton is seeking a friendly receptionist to deliver outstanding service to patients face-to-face and on the phone, welcoming visitors and keeping the front desk running smoothly. This part-time, fixed-term role runs for 12 months from 4 January 2027 and is on-site only; there is no home working.

From £12.97 per hour, with holidays rising to 25 days plus bank holidays, wellbeing support and staff discounts, you will support appointments, manage queries and help the team stay

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service roles.
• Ability to manage phone and in-person service.
• Comfortable with computer systems (training provided).

Your future, as a receptionist at mydentist

You’ll be joining us at our practice in Okehampton. As a receptionist, you will provide outstanding customer service to our customers and patients, both face to face whilst visiting the practice, and by managing phone calls to our front desk.

The working pattern for this role is part-time,

Week 1 Tuesday - Friday 8.30-5pm

Week 2 Wednesday - Saturday 8.30-5pm

As a receptionist, you'll be based on site in our practice, so home working is not possible.

This vacancy would be fixed term for 12 months from 4th January 2027
