Receptionist – Full Time

Salary: £30,000

Location: Corporate Office Building, Manchester Airport

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and efficient corporate receptionist who is ready to take on additional facility management responsibilities. You will be highly organized, managing contractors and providing admin support to the off-site Building Manager.

You will be responsible for providing an outstanding experience to both tenants and visitors, consistently exceeding expectations. This dynamic role requires a confident, well-presented individual with proven experience and a strong sense of ownership.

The role is based at a modern office building near Manchester Airport station.

Salary: £30,000

Hours: 8.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
Reception
  • Manage and own the reception area to ensure it reflects the clients’ and tenants’ expectations
  • Meet, greet, and register all visitors, providing excellent customer service
  • Manage deliveries, couriers, and post efficiently
Building Management
  • Establish yourself as the main point of contact for building questions and queries
  • Work closely with the off-site Building Manager, reporting issues and assisting in resolutions
  • Manage contractors, issue keys, and update maintenance logs
  • Build strong relationships with local letting agents and support them with office viewings
  • Perform general administration tasks as needed
Community Engagement
  • Introduce a monthly e-newsletter promoting local events and discounts to foster a community vibe
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • Proven experience in a front of house reception role
  • Facilities management experience is desirable
  • Personable, proactive, confident, and committed to excellent customer service
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and active listening skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, apps, and social media; willing to learn in-house systems
