Job summary

Brook in Manchester is seeking a part-time receptionist to provide front-desk support, referrals and information to clients with a respectful, non-judgemental approach. The role includes maintaining client records and using IT systems for information management.

The position offers 15 hours per week (Mon and Fri, plus one in four Saturdays) with a permanent contract and a pro rata salary of £26,227.50 per year.

Qualifications

  • Experience/understanding of confidentiality issues for young people accessing sexual health services.
  • Previous receptionist or administrative experience.
  • Experience of telephone work, e.g. managing and directing incoming calls and supporting clients over the phone.
  • Experience of record keeping, including updating basic client information and filing and storage of records.
  • Experience of word processing and inputting and retrieving information from a computer system.

Purpose of the role

About the role:
  • Hours: Part-Time 15 Hours per week (Monday and Friday and 1:4 Saturdays)

(Upon completing your probationary period, you will be eligible to join the 4 Day Week program, which allows you to work 20% fewer hours without a decrease in salary)
