Job summary

Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel in the heart of Glasgow's West End is seeking a friendly and professional receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. You will provide excellent customer service, manage bookings, and assist with smooth check-in and check-out procedures.

Located in a stylish 4-star property overlooking the Botanic Gardens, the team values warm hospitality, attention to data accuracy, and seamless guest experiences across bar, restaurant, and events.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
• Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests, and complaints
• Maintain up-to-date guest records and ensure data accuracy
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for room readiness
• Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions securely
• Maintain a tidy and organized reception area
• Adhere to hotel policies, health & safety, and data protection standards
