Hand Picked Hotels is seeking a knowledgeable Receptionist for Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa in Northamptonshire. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £13.50 plus service charge and a comprehensive benefits package.

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 5 days of work per week, including weekends, totaling 35 hours. You will welcome guests, manage check-in/out, and deliver personalised service in a luxury setting renowned for spa and fine dining.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in Front office as a Receptionist or similar role in a luxury four or five star hotel.
• Proficient computer skills, able to confidently navigate hotel reservation systems and Microsoft Office. Experience with Opera is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and creating personalised experiences at check-in and check-out.
• Assist guests with inquiries in a warm, professional manner and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with the Front Office team to ensure consistent, high‑quality service.
• Maintain high standards of appearance and guest safety during all shifts.

What will the role involve?

As a receptionist you will have the opportunity to create unforgettable moments, spark joy, and make every guest feel genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive.

You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Working closely with our passionate Front Office team, you will be in the centre of the action being connected, informed, and empowered to deliver a consistent and excelling standout service.

This is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 35 hours per week, which may vary depending on business.
