Job summary

Snozone Holdings Limited in Castleford is seeking a friendly Reception Team Member on a fixed term seasonal contract. You will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering warm hospitality and supporting daily reception and retail operations.

You will handle bookings, payments, and memberships, promote activities and services, maintain a clean reception area, record deliveries, and contribute to a high standard of guest experience. Previous experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide all our guests and members with the best possible welcome.
• Engage with our guests and members, explaining benefits of higher yielding products and activities before making future bookings.
• Ensure the reception area and desk are clean and free of clutter.
• Record deliveries and check against receipts; transfer deliveries to relevant department.
• Maintain merchandising units with price tags clearly displayed.
• Assist with stock taking and audits for clothing and merchandise as directed by the Line Manager.
• Assist guests and members with kiosks as required.

Job description

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and guest-focused Reception Team Member to join our team on a fixed term seasonal contract. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and delivering exceptional guest service throughout their visit. Responsibilities include managing guest enquiries, handling bookings and payments, selling merchandise, and promoting the full range of activities and services available including membership. You will proactively engage with guests to understand their interests, recommend suitable activities, and encourage future bookings to enhance their overall experience. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, supporting daily reception operations, and ensuring reception and retail areas are presented to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive and proactive attitude, strong organisational abilities, and confidence working in a guest-facing environment. Previous experience in reception, retail, leisure, hospitality, or sales is desirable but not essential. Responsibilities

• Ensure the reception area, including desk and flooring, are clean and free of clutter.
• Ensure all deliveries are recorded and checked against receipt; transfer deliveries to relevant department as soon as possible.
• Maintain cleanliness of merchandising units, making sure they are well stocked with each item price marked correctly.
• Undertake and assist with stock taking and audit for clothing and merchandise as directed by your Line Manager
• Assist our guests and members with the kiosks when required.

• A highly motivated individual who demonstrates outstanding communication skills.
• A commercial operator who is professional and can provide an exceptional guest experience.
• Possesses a very committed and diligent working style.
• Has strong implementation skills
