Job summary

ibis Birmingham New Street Station is seeking a Reception Team Member to provide a warm, professional welcome to guests, manage check-ins/outs and handle reservations. You’ll communicate clearly, resolve queries, and work with other departments to deliver a flawless stay.

The role is full-time with a salary up to £12.71 per hour plus benefits. Training and development opportunities and staff discounts are included, with shifts that may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Job Description

Located in the heart of Birmingham city centre, just moments from New Street Station, ibis Birmingham New Street Station hotel welcomes guests from around the world. We're looking for a friendly, energetic and customer-focused Reception Team Member to join our team. This is a full-time role with a salary of up to £12.71 per hour plus benefits.

You’ll likely be the first person our guests meet so you’ll need to create great first impressions, deliver excellent service and help ensure they enjoy a smooth and welcoming stay.

What you’ll be doing

What we’re looking for

• Confidence using computers and hotel systems
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience is beneficial
